On December 21, 2016, the Media Communication and Countdown Launching Ceremonyof the 14th Beijing International Construction Machinery Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2017) was held in Beijing Jiuhua Spa & Resort.

Initially launched in 1989, BICES has been organized for 27 years.As the first professional construction machinery exhibition certified byUnion of International Fairs (UFI), BICEShas been successfully held for 13 times with the support and help of numerous construction machinery manufacturers, competent government departments, industrial media, customers and all sectors of society and expanded with the beginning, growing and rising of the construction machinery industry in China.
It was declared that BICES 2017 will be be held in New Beijing International Exhibition Centre fromSeptember 20 to 23, 2017 together with the 4th China International Commercial Vehicle Exhibition, the 4th China International Emergency Rescue Equipment Exhibition, BICES CE Appearance and Quality Competition, as well as BICES the 4th China International Design Contest of Construction Machinery & Commercial Vehicle.BICES 2017 will be a great event of the construction machinery industry in China.
Speech by Qi Jun, Chairman of CCMA
First, Qi Jun, Chairman of CCMA, analyzed and summarized the development trend of construction machinery industry in 2016 andpredicted the domestic situation of construction machinery industry in 2017.
“The construction machinery industry has been gradually improved in 2016 and has achieved the highest growth in the past five years in terms of excavator, loader,piling machinery and powered access platform; especially, sales of excavator has beenrebounded since August, greatly inspiring the insiders”,said Qi Jun who is full of confidence to the industrial situation in 2017.
He believed that the construction machinery industry will be fully recovered and developed in 2017 by closing down outdated production facilities and increasing investments in innovation resulting from the increasing investments in infrastructure construction with the strengthening of state macro-control and deepening of supply-side reform.
The number of construction machinery users will be increased rapidly. And BICES 2017will certainlyachieve a complete successdriven by these favorable factors!
Su Zimeng, Executive Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of CCMA
Second, Su Zimeng, Executive Vice-Chairman and Secretary-General of CCMA, read out the Invitation Letter of BICES 2017. He said that: “as the sponsor of BICES 2017, CCMA will provide a better platform and superior services to exhibitors. First, CCMA will make full use of region and resource advantages in terms of government, media, enterprises directly controlled by the central authorities, headquarters base, universities & colleges, and research institutions in Beijing to create good conditions for all exhibitors to present their innovation and development achievements to help domestic and foreign users, specialists, scholars and people from all sectors of society better understand the new technologies, products and achievements made by the construction machinery industry throughtransformation and upgrading in recent years, so as to attract more attentions and supports. Second, CCMA will organize a variety ofprofessional activities with higher value. Third, CCMA will activelyestablish cooperative relationship withembassies in China, commercial counselors and industrial organizations of relevant countries, as well as local governments and domestic industrial organizations to get support for projects and seek visitors and partners for Beijing BICES 2017.”
Then, Han Xuesong, Honorary Chairman and Chief Counsel of CCMA, delivered an important speech.He reviewed the 27 years of developmentof BICES. As a witness and a participant of BICES 2017, he believed that BICES has become the largest top-level construction machinery exhibition with expanding scale, increasing visitors and improving management with the guidance of government, the organization of association and the support of all sectors of society. As the sponsor, CCMA should strenthen modern management and learn modern management method to create better exhibition environment for exhibitors and visitors, and strive to build BICES 2017 the wind vane for the development of construction machinery industry in China, a platform for construction machinery exhibition worldwide, and an international occasion of the construction machinery industry with significant influence.
