On November 28, 2018, the 15th China Beijing International Construction Machinery, Building Materials Machines and Mining Machines Exhibition & Seminar (BICES 2019) organizing committee held BICES 2019 Shanghai Networking Reception at Construction Machinery Industry Association booth of bauma China in the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). Chairman of China Construction Machinery Industry Association (CCMA), Mr. Qi Jun, Chairman of CCMA, Mr. Su Zimeng, Executive Vice Chairman and General-Secretary of CCMA, Mr. Lv Ying, Vice General-Secretary of CCMA and General Manager of China Construction Machinery Co., Ltd and reporters and guests from home and abroad more than 100 people attended the reception. The reception was hosted by Mr. Zhou Weidong, Vice Chairman of CCPIT-Machinery Sub-Council. Mr. Qi Jun delivered a speech on "China Construction Machinery Industry Situation and BICES 2019 Overall Thinking". On behalf of the BICES exhibition organizers, I would like to express my warmest welcome and sincere gratitude to all of your coming to the BICES Networking Reception.
Although there is still one month and two days away from statistic the fourth quarter and full-year data of 2018, but we can find that the industry's situation is good this year through the data observations of the first three quarters from January to September. The industry’s growth is also reflected in the scale of Shanghai's bauma exhibition, which has achieved new heights. According to the data of major construction machinery enterprises listed in the association statistics, the 9 major categories of construction machinery from January to September 2018 (excavator, loader, bulldozer, grader, truck crane, truck-mounted crane, industrial vehicle, road roller, paver) overall sales of products increased by 30.2% year-on-year, even few products have a high-speed growth of more than 50% year-on-year, such as excavator sales from January to September reached 156,242 units, an increase of 53.3%, car cranes sales from January to September 24,691 units, an increase of 67.9%; For the exports, the main 9 categories of construction machinery from January to September increased by 39% compared with the same period of last year. This shows that the international market is increasingly recognized China made products based on the overall improvement of product and service quality, and the export direction is mainly concentrated along the “Belt and Road” countries and regions.
Overall consideration, it is expected that the growth will remain stable in 2019, and the BICES 2019 in Beijing will be brilliant and promising.
Today, we hold a BICES networking reception, which marks that the work of the association in the two major exhibitions in China has officially transfered to the BICES 2019 from the Shanghai bauma. According to statistics, the number of exhibitors registered BICES 2019 has increased tenfold compared with the same period of last time, some of them have registered an area of 5000 square meters.
