With the rapid development of China's economy, infrastructure construction and automobile industry, commercial vehicle market develops rapidly and appears prosperously. This market prosperity has in turn played a very important role in meeting domestic demands and boosting the national economy. In recent decades, since the market has set up higher and higher standards for technology and added-value contained in product, a series of advanced technologies has been extensively used in commercial vehicles. In this post-crisis era, the commercial vehicle industry is greeting a new flourish.

In today's China, the pace of urbanization and economic structure optimization is accelerating, followed by the ever multiplying demands for special vehicles in respect of logistics, municipal construction, energy, health care, airlines and other areas. The estimated annual growth rate of China's special vehicle will be approximately 10%. The total demand for special vehicle in 2020 is expected to reach 1,740,000, while the population of such vehicle will be amounted to 8,550,000. In the meantime, special vehicle's proportion in the total amount of trucks has also been on an increase over the past years, and has reached the present 40%, though the gap could still be perceived when compared with a 70 percent market share for special vehicles in developed countries.
